What a course actually asks of you
This shelf gathers the formulations classically associated with the liver, with the handling of fat and sugar, and with the group of conditions the texts call prameha. It is the second largest on the store and the one where expectation most needs setting. These were never brief interventions: a traditional course runs over months, and diet and routine are held to be part of it rather than adjuncts to it.
If a physician already manages something for you, bring these into that conversation rather than adding them quietly alongside. Several bear on how prescription medicines are taken, and your doctor needs to know.
How the shelf divides
- Classical kashayams and tablets — The traditional decoctions and their tablet equivalents — bitter, scheduled, and the best documented part of this group.
- Kairali capsules — Modern formulations from our Kerala factory. Easier to take daily, with less textual history behind them.
- Tell your physician — Not boilerplate. If you take prescription medicine for blood sugar, blood pressure or cholesterol, have that conversation before you begin.
Always read the label and directions on the pack you receive, and speak with your physician before starting anything new — particularly if you are pregnant, nursing, managing a health condition or taking prescription medicine.
