Responsibility, documented
Corporate responsibility is credible only when the activity, responsible entity, location, period, current status and supporting evidence are clear. Kairali therefore uses a simple reporting principle for this page: no programme is described as current until its records have been reviewed, and no social, environmental or health outcome is inferred from a photograph or retrospective summary.
This page does not reproduce earlier project claims whose dates, recipients, scope or present status have not yet been confirmed. That omission is deliberate. It allows future updates to distinguish active work from historical activity and plans without presenting any of them more strongly than the evidence permits.
What responsible reporting covers
CSR reporting may cover community initiatives, environmental work, workforce-related programmes, education, donations, partnerships or other activities connected with the business. For each published entry, readers should be able to understand:
- which Kairali entity or business unit was responsible;
- the programme name and location;
- the period covered and whether the work is current, completed or planned;
- the activity actually provided, without adding an assumed result;
- any delivery partner or recipient organisation;
- the source used to verify the entry; and
- the date on which the information was last reviewed.
Numbers are included only with a defined period, unit and source. A donation, training session, consultation, item supplied or person reached is not converted into a wider impact claim without an appropriate method and record.
Current work, archive and plans
A current activity is one supported by recent evidence and an identified owner. An archive item is historical and is labelled with its period; it is not described as continuing unless current records show that it is. A plan is presented as a plan, not as work already delivered.
Keeping these categories separate prevents old descriptions from remaining online indefinitely and makes it easier to correct or retire an entry when circumstances change. It also gives readers a clearer view of what Kairali can substantiate now.
People, consent and dignity
People involved in community activity are not marketing props. Names, identifiable photographs, medical information and personal stories require an appropriate basis and, where applicable, informed consent. Children and people receiving care require particular caution. We do not use staged beneficiary imagery, publish unnecessary personal details or treat a photograph as proof that an outcome occurred.
Where an authentic image is published, its caption should identify the verified activity, place and date without making claims about a person’s health, income or circumstances.
Health-related community activity
Any reference to a health camp, consultation, equipment, treatment or other care-related activity requires primary records and qualified review before publication. Reporting the activity does not establish that a condition was cured, that a clinical result was achieved or that the same outcome can be expected by another person. Personal medical guidance should come from an appropriately qualified professional, not from a CSR case study.
Environmental information
Environmental statements also need scope and measurement. Terms such as organic, zero waste, carbon reduction, renewable energy or fully recycled should not be used as broad descriptions unless the relevant activity, boundary, period and evidence are stated. A proposed installation is not reported as operational, and an operational practice is not converted into a quantified saving without a documented baseline and method.
Partners, donations and recognition
When another organisation is involved, the entry should state its role and the nature of Kairali’s contribution. Naming a partner does not imply that it endorses every Kairali product or business activity. Financial amounts, donated items and recipient counts require records and an appropriate publication basis.
Corrections and supporting records
If you represent a programme partner, recipient organisation or other relevant party and wish to submit a correction or supporting record, please use our Contact Us page. Include the programme name, period, location, source and your relationship to the information. We review the evidence before updating this page and avoid publishing confidential, personal or copyrighted material without an appropriate basis.
