Lipidex Capsules are a Kairali formulation, made in Kerala, where the family has been preparing Ayurvedic medicine since 1908.
They are intended to support liver function and metabolic balance as part of an ordinary routine of food, movement and rest. Their named constituents include brahmi, guduchi, guggulu, ginger (shunthi).
They are traditionally taken by mouth. Preparations of this kind are judged over weeks rather than days. Contraindications
Hypersensitivity to ingredients. Use cautiously in active liver disease.
Special precautions
Patients on statins or other lipid-lowering drugs should be monitored regularly (LFT, lipid profile).
Drug interactions
May have additive effect with lipid-lowering drugs; monitor lipid profile and LFTs regularly.
